Mercy Special Learning Center provides a personalized education in a supportive, Christian environment for children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We strive to educate the whole child in the areas of physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development, while respecting the dignity and potential of each person.
Mercy advocates the inclusion of our students with others in the community through social interaction, work experience and church participation. However, we believe that students with intellectual or developmental disabilities learn and develop best when given specialized instruction with others of similar abilities.
Mercy currently has students enrolled from 14 school districts throughout Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe Counties in Pennsylvania.
